Moments that marked history

La Guaira — Venezuela
On June 24, 2026, two consecutive earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 MW shook La Guaira, leaving an indelible mark on our nation. The official toll (7/7/2026) is 3,535 deaths, 16,740 injured, and 17,854 people who lost their homes. But in the midst of darkness, the light of solidarity shone brighter than ever. From every corner of the world, hands joined to rebuild what nature tried to destroy. This is a reminder that even when the earth trembles, the human spirit remains unbreakable.
“May peace and hope be reborn from the rubble. May every affected family find the strength to keep going. May La Guaira, cradle of the brave, rise stronger than before.”
La Guaira is not alone. Venezuela is not alone.
Message of Hope
To all Venezuelans: you are not alone. May this tragedy remind us that we are a strong, united, and unbreakable people. The reconstruction will be difficult, but together we will raise every rubble, every house, and every dream. Venezuela will have a better tomorrow.
